To ensure world-class quality of the EBS learning series, the past editions have being gathering over 30 authority figures and pioneering practitioners as speakers from 10 countries and regions, including US, UK, Denmark, The Netherlands, Singapore, Australia, India, China, the Middle East and Hong Kong.

Led by Richard Mosley, co-founder of the Employer Brand concept, part of past speakers list includes the following names:

Mr. Richard Mosley
Global Vice President of Strategy, Universum

Richard Mosley is widely recognised as one of the leading world authorities on employer brand development and management.

When he worked at People In Business which first conceived the advanced concept "Employer Brand", he co-authored with the founder Simon Barrow, his first book, ‘The Employer Brand’, which is the founding book on Employer Brand Management, and has become a global best-seller, and the sequel: ‘Employer Brand Management: Practical lessons from the world’s best employers’ is published in 2014. 

Richard draws his thinking on over 20 years experience in both brand management and HR consulting, and he has led major employer brand development and engagement projects for Coca-Cola, EON, GSK, HSBC, Lafarge, LEGO, Nokia-Siemens, PepsiCo, RBS, Standard Bank, Tesco, Unilever and Verizon.

Through his client work, masterclasses and speaking engagements Richard also has significant experience in addressing the challenges facing emerging markets, collaborating with the Icfai University Press in India and Peking University in China on regionally specific employer brand publications. He was also recently awarded by the Asia-Pacific HR Congress in Mumbai for his contribution to Global HR Innovation.

Troels Wendelbo
Senior Director, executive HR, LEGO Group

Troels is globally responsible for employee engagement, culture, employer branding, HR business planning, insights and strategy.

He holds an MBA in Organization & Strategy and has studied at Columbia University, IMD and Insead. After beginning his professional human resource career with the LEGO Group in the mid-90ies, and working in Denmark, Germany and the US, he has been in management consulting for a number of years, before rejoining the LEGO Group in mid-2007 to take on the global role of building the organizations employer brand from the inside out.

Troels Wendelbo has written a number of international articles on employee engagement and culture, and enjoys speaking at 2-3 conferences every year, not the least to meet up with and get inspiration from professional HR colleagues around the world. He apologizes in advance for not speaking Chinese.

He is 40 years old, and has 2 children that favor his current choice of employer very much.


Christina Devas
Global Employer Branding & Talent Attraction Lead, Saudi Aramco

Christina joined Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia in 2010, applying her knowledge of recruitment marketing and candidate attraction to improve their direct sourcing proposition. Christina’s responsibilities include global strategic development; leading the formulation of candidate sourcing strategies, employer brand development, digital marketing and media & project planning, as well as stakeholder management.

With ten years’ experience of working in recruitment communications, Christina’s role is to support Saudi Aramco in hiring business critical roles and achieve the organization’s 2020 strategic vision. In Christina’s spare time, she is studying for an MBA and enjoys playing tennis

 
Paul Daniels
Employer Brand & Marketing, APAC – Deutsche Bank

A specialist in employer brand communications, Paul is the Employer Brand Lead for Asia Pacific at Deutsche Bank. With experience spanning 14 years in the UK, Australia and Singapore on both client and agency-side, he has worked with some of the biggest names in the Technology, Finance, FMCG, Retail and Natural Resources sectors.

Having previously delivered strategies for a wide variety of clients, Paul is now firmly-focused on the consistent delivery, maintenance and evolution of the Deutsche Bank employer brand across the region and globally. His specific interests and specialisms include digital channel development, campaign measurement and engagement of talent communities via social media.


Lawrence Lee
Vice President Human Resources, Greater China & Mongolia, Hilton Worldwide 

Lawrence Lee, a Singaporean, is a seasoned human resources professional with more than 20 years in the hospitality industry and has extensive experience in human resource development and management at both strategic and global level.

Lawrence has lived and worked in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Zurich. He joined Hilton Worldwide as their Head of Learning and Development – Asia Pacific and was recently appointed as Vice President, Human Resources – Greater China & Mongolia.

His previous work experience includes being the Human Resources Group Director for Swissotel Hotels & Resorts, Vice President of Human Resources for Carlson Hotels Worldwide – Asia Pacific and Senior Vice President Human Resources for Jin Jiang International Hotel Management Company.

Alex CHEN Shuang-hua
Assistant General Manager, HR, Headquarter, Tencent GROUP

Alex has been the key contributor bringing Tencent’s people practice into a new level, currently in charge of recruitment practice for Tencent Group, based in Shenzhen, China,
For over 10 years, Alex holds the role of human resources management, with abundant experience in the fields of workforce planning, recruitment strategy, employer brand management.
Prior to his current position, Alex served major players in ranging industries, including 999 Group and Excellence Group.

Manmohan Bhutani
Vice President – People & Operations, Global Services, Fiserv

Manmohan has 27+ years of diverse experience in the Technology industry managing IT, Software and Systems Integration Business in different roles and positions. He has been with Fiserv for 5 years and heads the People & Operations Group which includes Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Facilities management and IT Infrastructure functions for the Offshore Development Centers in India and Costa Rica.

Before Fiserv, Manmohan was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) with AIG Systems Solution. He was the Centre Head & General Manager at HCL Technologies. His previous experience includes positions of Regional Manager- Systems Integration at NIIT Limited and PCL. He also started the Indonesia Office for NIIT at Jakarta.

Manmohan completed his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from BITS, Pilani and MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, India.

Monica WU Wen-wei
HR Director, Asia Pacific, Janssen Pharmaceuticals by Johnson & Johnson. from China

Monica has more than 19 years’ experiences for HR consulting business management and Corp HR, plus other several years’ technical experiences in Healthcare industry and academic institution. 

Monica WU joined Janssen Pharmaceutical R&D Asia Pacific as HR Director in 2008, and was transferred to US in Y2011, as HR Director – Talent Management Latin America in Miami, later on, as HR Director – Janssen global Strategic Workforce Planning in New Jersey.

Prior to J&J, Monica served as Head of HR Shared Service Operation for Tyco Electronics China/AP.  She also has 7 years’ business management experiences with Hewitt, as Head of Talent & Organization Consulting Analytics Business Unit (BU) and HR Outsourcing BU.  Her other experiences include increasing roles & responsibilities in HR and Total Rewards at Nike, Roche and Inchcape, as well as technical experiences with Bristol-Myers Squibb China and research institute. 

Monica holds Bachelor Degree of Science and Engineering in Biochemistry from Shanghai University, and a post graduation diploma of Business Management from Fudan University.
Monica is a certified Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) and Faculty by WorldAtWork (worldwide Total Rewards Association with 60+ years history), and certified facilitator for SWP (Strategic Workforce Planning), MBTI, DISC, Belbin Team Roles and Executive Coaching.

 
William Gu Zhengyu Head of HR, China, Baxter

Mr William Gu Zhengyu has over 15 years of experience in the field of talent management & employee engagement, having held senior level positions in OCBC bank, Cooper industries, SKF and Raytheon. He holds a Master degree in Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business, York University, Canada.


Jennifer Jin
Head of Human Resources, China, Standard Chartered Bank

Jennifer Jin takes the role of Head of HR, Standard Chartered Bank (China) Limited. Before joining SCB, Jennifer was appointed as the Executive HR Director, Greater China Region and Executive Director and Head of Talent Development East Asia for Novartis.

Jennifer graduated from Tianjin University, with Bachelor of Materials Science Engineering and Master of Management Engineering. She also holds Master of Organization Development from Loyola University Chicago.

Jennifer is a certified instructor for several areas in Human Resources including 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. She was the winner of 15 People in 15 Years from China Staff Awards 2012, and CCH China Staff 2009 HR Director of the Year, and headed as Chairperson for HR Association for Pharma industry till Sep 2010.


Sharon O’Hara 
Former Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, China, Walmart (now Director Recruitment and Global Mobility at Goldcorp Inc)

Sharon O’Hara is a Talent Management professional with over 15 years experience in Recruitment and Development in Canada, US & China including Recruitment Branding.  Working with Walmart since 2006 she is currently the Sr. Director Talent Acquisition for Walmart China.  Prior to Walmart China she worked for Walmart Global Sourcing, responsible for hiring & developing associates in 15 countries. Sharon also worked for Walmart Canada as the Recruitment Manager, Recruitment Strategy Manager, and Manager of Merchant Capability Development with a breath of experience working in Talent Acquisition & Development. Sharon obtained her Master of Arts Degree from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.


 Leo Li
Global HR Director, Bosch Packaging Technology-Pharma

Leo joined Bosch in 2004, currently promoted as Global HR Director, Bosch Packaging Technology-Pharma, from Senior HR manager for Bosch China, As Corporate HR, where he is mainly responsible for strategic hiring, employer branding and talent management. Prior to this role, Leo acted as HR business partner in different Bosch BUs and plants. Prior to joining Bosch, Leo has worked for Akzo Nobel. In the past 10 years of his professional life, Leo accumulated broad experience in HR area.

Bosch set up its first sales office in China as early as 1909. In 1926, the first Bosch car service was opened in Shanghai. Today, all three Bosch business sectors are present in China: Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, and Consumer Goods and Building Technology. Bosch employs 30,200 associates at 51 legal entities across China, and has a holding company in Shanghai. Consolidated sales in China reached 42.3 billion yuan in 2011.

GUO Xin                    
President & CEO, Career International

Mr. Guo is President & CEO of Career International . Prior to joining Career International, Mr. Guo  was the Managing Director for Mercer Greater China  and a global senior partner at Mercer. He was also the Chairman of Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) in China.   MMC is the parent company of Mercer.  During his 10 year tenure at Mercer, Mr. Guo Xin had held a  variety of leadership positions, including Asia Pacific Human Capital business leader and Deputy Head for Asia Pacific with responsibilities of leading Asia.

 In the past 20 years, he has held various management positions in  consulting industry both in the US and China. His consulting expertise is mostly in working with clients on developing strategic organization structures, business processes, and human resource systems. His clients  include local private and listed companies, state-owned enterprises and multinational companies in and outside of China.

Mr. Guo graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautic with the bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and the master‘s degree  in Systems Engineering. He also received an MBA degree from University of San Francisco in the United States. Mr. Guo Xin is a member of World at Work Global Advisory Board.


Margie Kwan
Solutions Consultant, Aasia, LinkedIn

Margie Kwan joined LinkedIn in 2012 as an Employer Branding and Communications specialist. She currently provides strategic guidance to employers on the adoption of social media for talent attraction and employer branding.  Prior to joining LinkedIn, Margie was Asia-Pacific Employer Branding Leader at Ernst & Young, where she was responsible for developing the employer brand program, managing its channel strategy and introducing social recruiting to the firm.  She received her Master of Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, specialising in Marketing.
